Roger Nelson, Ph.D. was Coordinator of Research at the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR) laboratory at Princeton University from 1980 to 2002, and has directed the Global Consciousness Project (GCP), since its inception in 1997.
Interests in psychology, physics, philosophy and the arts have given opportunities to collaborate with creative interdisciplinary teams at PEAR and elsewhere developing ways to study consciousness and intention. Building on years of laboratory experiments, Roger began using random event generator (REG) technology in the field to study effects of special states of group consciousness. This led naturally to the Global Consciousness Project (GCP), which is designed to register indications of a coalescing global consciousness responding to major world events such as 9/11, the beginnings of war, or New Year's Eve. Speculative interpretations suggest that we may be looking at some form of consciousness field.
Dr. Nelson is the author of "Connected: The Emergence of Global Consciousness," and co-author of, “Die Welt-Kraft in Dir” (German language).
See video of Dr. Nelson on the Global Transformation Project Monthly Discussion Series on global consciousness science and mind body effects on it.

Foster Gamble is the President & Co-Founder of Clear Compass Media; Creator, Host, Co-Writer, and Director of Visual Design for the acclaimed documentary and movement THRIVE.
At age 14, Foster Gamble had a vision where he glimpsed what he perceived to be the Universe’s fundamental energy pattern. He spent the next 35 years trying to figure out the details and implications of what he had seen. That quest took two paths: a scientific journey and an exploration of the human potential to navigate successfully through the challenges threatening our survival. THRIVE represents the convergence of these two paths.
In 1997 Foster Gamble co-convened the Sequoia Symposium, a multi-disciplinary scientific think tank exploring perspectives on “Unification Theory”.

Beyond ICRL, Dr. Dunne holds a Ph.D. in Experimental Nuclear Physics from Purdue University and works as a researcher in data sciences and systems engineering at the Johns Hopkins University. On non-scientific fronts, Jeff is an award-winning playwright with hundreds of productions of his plays performed across North America, Europe, and Asia, as well as an award-winning author of science fiction. His most recent novel, Nexus, published by Wyrder Books in March 2023, bridges the gap of writing and consciousness studies, illustrating the potential of interconnectedness for improving the human condition.
Professor Shin Lin teaches cell biology, biomedical engineering, and integrative medicine at the School of Biological Sciences and is a member of the Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute at the University of California, Irvine. His Laboratory for Mind-Body Signaling and Energy Research (MindBodyLab.Bio.UCI.edu) uses hi-tech approaches to study the health benefits of Tai Chi, Qigong, and traditional Chinese medical therapies. Among findings by his research team are: Tai Chi and Qigong practices increase blood flow measured with laser Doppler flowmetry, accompanied by a coordinated increase in electrical flow measured at acupuncture points; similar increases in blood flow are also produced by acupuncture, acupressure, moxibustion, and topical herbal medicine; application of electrical flow of physiological range to produce a D.C. electric field changes the cytoskeleton and consequently the directionality of the movement of cells grown in culture; electromyography shows that Tai Chi and Qigong movements are excellent exercises for muscle groups involved in fall prevention and in stretching for relief of back/shoulder/neck pain; meditation is a dual state of relaxed concentration shown by analysis of brain wave patterns, heart rate variability, and near infrared spectra; slow-deep breathing or pressure on relaxation acupoints can mitigate in real time the elevation of heart rate, blood pressure, and sympathetic function induced in the laboratory by stressful video games and movies.
Dr. Lin has a broad background and interests in the biological sciences (Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from UCLA; postdoctoral studies in Biochemistry & Biophysics at University of California, San Francisco), Traditional Chinese Medicine (training in acupuncture for Physical Medicine at Hong Kong Polytechnic University), and Chen Style Tai Chi (In-door training with Grandmaster Chen Zhanglei of the Henan Chen Family Village). He was formerly Chairman of Biophysics at Johns Hopkins University, Dean of the School of Biological Sciences and Associate Vice Chancellor for Biomedical Initiatives at University of California, Irvine, and a Visiting Professor at both Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Hong Kong City University. He held appointments to the National Advisory Council for Complementary Medicine and Integrative Health, as Chairman of a Think Tank on Biofield Medicine, and to a scientific advisory group on Non-Pharmacological Management of Pain and Stress in the Military, all at the National Institutes of Health of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. "The human body creates self regulatory factors that keep us well. These are functionally generated healing resources – nutrition, exercise, sleep, hydration, stress mastery, etc. Each of these requires choice. Mind-Body Practice empowers choice making. As a doctor of Chinese medicine with 40 years of clinical practice, following 40 years of clinical practice, having been involved in numerous research projects and with 10 research trips to China, I am sure that health education (health maximization) is far superior to medical intervention (disease treatment). Such education should begin at home, of course, but most adults in the contemporary world are not health educated. Educating and inspiring children regarding health sustainability is the solution. I can think of no more powerful way to expedite Mind Body's powerful benefits for health and consciousness than to expand its use as a core part of Public Education worldwide, via a UN Resolution advocating Mind Body Education to public educators worldwide--the goal of the GTP."
-- Dr. Roger Jahnke
Dr. Rhoads is a professor in the College of Business at Kutztown University (Doctorate in Educational Technology), and Founder of HPL Consortium. Her research interests include leadership development, business strategy, entrepreneurship, healthcare cost management, newly developed educational technologies, and integrative health practices. Her work is internationally known, authoring over 200 articles published in a variety of venues and languages. Her most recent book is "Strategic Decision Making for Successful Planning: Solving Problems for Great Results" published by Rutledge.
"Mind-Body education is the single most powerful cognitive, health, and behavioral support for students' future careers and lifelong happiness. I speak with the experience of an expert: I have a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology and a Doctorate in Educational Technology, and have been teaching for over 30 years. I’ve also done primary research that demonstrates that students who do qigong meditation just before taking a test do better on that test than students who either exercise or study just before a test. Implementing Mind-Body education as proposed in GTP could change the world for the better – both now and into the future."
-- Dr. CJ Rhoads, M.Ed., D.Ed.
